This illustration is based on a piece of modern Torontonian folklore from 1978. In this story a man from cabbage town reportedly spotted a monkey-like cyptid in the tunnels under his neighborhood.
Tying it into a certain infamous transit service was a blast!

Within the past year a lot of things have changed with my work. I’ve learnt a lot (both digitally and traditionally) and this is my first attempt at trying to synthesize those lessons into an image.
I also recoloured the artwork for a special “Cold” variant and included the black and white drawing as well.
